The statements made by the mother and father of the victim implicate the petitioners before us. The petitioners are the brother-in-law and the mother-in-law of the victim girl. We are informed that charge-sheet is yet to be filed by the prosecution.

Notwithstanding the husband of the victim being enlarged on statutory bail, we are of the view that the custodial interrogation of the petitioners is required.

The application for anticipatory bail being CRM (A) 181 OF 2024 is , accordingly, rejected.
