1. Prayer for bail is renewed by way of this application.

2. Period of custody is the ground canvassed as the material change in circumstances since the earlier order of rejection.

3. Earlier order of rejection is dated February 18, 2026 passed in C.R.M.(R) 72 of 2025. While rejecting the prayer for bail, the coordinate Bench took into consideration the medical report of the victim and was of the view that, prima facie, such medical report corroborated the contention of the victim.

4. Allegation is of rape.

5. Considering the gravity of the offence and considering the fact that, there is hardly any change in material circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection, I am not minded to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

6. Prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

7. CRM (R) 9 of 2026 is dismissed.
