The petitioner's claim to be engaged as ad hoc Assistant Teacher in a school in the District of Darjeeling. He claims that he is entitled to be absorbed as permanent teacher under the G.T.A. in the School in which he is working.

Without going into further details of the matter, the D.I. of Schools, Darjeeling, respondent No. 3 shall consider the request of the petitioner, treating the writ petition itself as a representation, preferably within a period of six months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

The petitioner may be heard in person or through legal representative. The 3rd respondent, the D.I. of School, Darjeeling shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of seven days thereof.

With the above observations, WPA 562 of 2021 is disposed of.

Since, no affidavit-in-opposition has been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted by the respondents.

There will be no order as to costs.
