The subject-matter of this revisional application relates to quashing of the charge-sheet filed in connection with New Cooch Behar, Government Railway Police Station Case No. 01 of 2005 dated 01.02.2005 (G.R. Case No. 29 of 2005) under Sections 468/471 of the Indian Penal Code.

Records of this revisional application reflect that the matter is pending since January 2021 and the charge-sheet was filed in the year 2005. Records of this revisional application also reflect that only the formal FIR and the formal report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (charge-sheet) have been enclosed along with the order-sheets. None of the documents relating to Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, which have been relied upon by the prosecution, has been enclosed for adjudication of the issues.

Considering the gravity of the offences, I am of the opinion that no interference is called for. Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 35 of 2022 is dismissed. All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
