1. Considering the gravity of the allegations made against the petitioner with regard to assault on the petitioner's wife, we are not inclined to allow the prayer for anticipatory bail.
2. We are hence of the view that the petitioner's custodial interrogation is required.
3. The application for anticipatory bail being CRM(A) 184 of 2024 is accordingly rejected.
