Learned senior counsel representing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is a member of the Shantiniketan Residents Welfare Society registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961. The petitioner found certain irregularities in the functioning of the Welfare Society. Accordingly, he made a representation on 26th June, 2024 before the Registrar. But, the same has not been considered as yet. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that in the event a representation is pending consideration, the same would be decided in accordance with law.

In view of the above, let the respondent no.3 consider the petitioner's representation dated 26th June, 2024 in accordance with law and after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as expeditiously as

possible, preferably within a period of ten weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

As affidavits were not called for, allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
