The petitioners submit that pursuant to the order passed by this Court on February 28, 2020 in WPA 448 of 2020 the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), GTA, Darjeeling considered the matter and forwarded the same to the competent authority, GTA Darjeeling for further action.

The petitioners complain that no further steps have been taken by the competent authority, GTA Darjeeling after passing of the order by the District Inspector of Schools.

As it appears that the District Inspector of Schools (P.E), GTA Darjeeling already forwarded the case of the petitioner to the competent authority, GTA Darjeeling and no steps appear to have been taken thereafter, accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 1 to take necessary consequential steps pursuant to the order dated July 2, 2020 passed by the District Inspector of Schools (P.E), GTA Darjeeling.

Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

A formal order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioners immediately thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
