Mr. Subinay Dey ..For the petitioner.

Mr. Bikramaditya Ghosh ...For the State.

Mr. Bikramaditya Ghosh, learned counsel appearing for the State submits that the compensation payable to the petitioner was calculated and credited to the petitioner's account on January 27, 2023.

Mr. Subinay Dey, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that his client is yet to receive the amount.

In the event, the submission of the alleged contemnor is demonstrated to be incorrect, the petitioner shall be at liberty to revive this contempt application. Any dispute with regard to the quantum of compensation is, however, an independent cause of action that is required to be agitated in a separate proceeding.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant contempt application being CPAN 14 of 2022 shall stand disposed of. Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
