Roy Mr. Subhasish Misra ... for the respondent no.2 Mr. Anirban Banerjee Mr. Kumar Shantanu ...for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is an M.A., B.Ed and is, therefore, quite eligible for being appointed to the post of Assistant Teacher in any school of the upper primary section. Accordingly, he made a representation before the concerned authorities, but the same was not considered and no call for interview came.

Learned counsels appearing on behalf of the State and the SSC deny the allegations and submit that the petitioner might have unilaterally made an application saying that he wanted to be appointed as an Assistant Teacher. But, the pleading did not disclose that he did not participate either in any selection process or respond to any advertisement for such engagement.

There is nothing to show that the petitioner has responded to an advertisement or participated in a process of selection for appointment as an Assistant Teacher in a school.

Therefore, I do not find any merit in this application.

Accordingly, the same is dismissed.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Parties shall act on a server copy downloaded from the official website of this Court.
