The land of the petitioner has been acquired in LAP Case No. 08/NH/2010-11 for construction of National Highway.
The grievance of the petitioner is that till date no compensation has been paid to him.
Ms. Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the National Highways Authority, submits that compensation amount has already been deposited with the Special Land Acquisition Collector, Cooch Behar, the respondent no. 6 herein.
The representation of the petitioner for payment of such compensation is
pending consideration before the respondent no. 6 herein.
The respondent no. 6 therefore is directed to dispose of the said representation within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.
WPA 428 of 2024 is disposed of with the above direction without any order as to costs.
