The petitioner has superannuated from his service on 30.1.2021 and PPO was issued on 27th December, 2021. The gratuity as well as the pension of the petitioner was paid to the petitioner on 6.1.2022. Now the petitioner claims interest on the gratuity amount as well as on arrears of pension from 31.1.2021 till 6.1.2022.

Considered the submission made by the petitioner, this Court finds that there is no delay in releasing gratuity and pension of the petitioner. The petitioner is not entitled to get interest on gratuity amount as well as

on arrears of pension as claimed by the petitioner.

WPA 437 of 2023 is thus disposed of.
