No one appears on behalf of the respondent No.6 although the State is represented.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Paschim Dharmabarer Kuthi 5th Plan Primary School at Coochbehar. On 04.02.2025 she prayed for transfer on the ground of distances between place of work and place of residence and severe gynecological disorder of the petitioner. Yet, the same has not been considered by the authority.

It does not appear that there is much delay on the part of the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner's representation.

However, in the interest of justice, it is expected that the respondent No.6 will consider the petitioner's

application for transfer dated 04.02.2025 in accordance with law and at the earliest, preferably within ten weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

It is made clear that the merits of the case have not been gone into.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
