The writ petitioner's grievance is that her request for arbitration to determine adequate compensation for her properties has not been taken up by the concerned authorities and is still pending.

Per contra, the learned advocate for the State and NHAI submits that not only has the arbitration process been taken up but an award has also been passed in the year 2016. It is also submitted that the compensation amount payable has been enhanced in the said award.

In that view of the matter, the writ petitioner's submission that the arbitration has not occurred is devoid of merits.

The writ petition therefore fails and is hereby dismissed.

No order as to costs.
