1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioners are retired employees of the Cooch Behar Zilla Regulated Market Committee.

3. They pray for releasing enhanced gratuity in terms of the notification bearing memo no. 277/Estab-40/Acct. (IR & PC)/P-2/2020 (Part-III) dated 28th January, 2021.

4. Their representation is pending consideration at the end of the Cooch Behar Zilla Regulated Market Committee.

5. None represents the Cooch Behar Zilla Regulated Market Committee despite service. In the absence of the aforesaid respondent, the Court will not be in a position to decide the issue conclusively.

6. The instant writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the Chairman, Cooch Behar Zilla Regulated Market Committee, being the respondent no. 5 herein, to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioners in accordance with law after giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary

parties at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

7. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the parties immediately thereafter.

8. Learned advocate for the petitioners is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 8th February, 2024 along with all supporting documents to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of this Court.

9. The writ petition stands disposed of.

10. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
