Since the petitioners are land losers, litigating from the year 2011 for compensation, the connected miscellaneous (LA) case, which is now pending before the District Judge at Cooch Behar, requires to be disposed of expeditiously.
Accordingly, C.O. No. 47 of 2019 is disposed of by requesting the District Judge at Cooch Behar to dispose of Miscellaneous (LA) Case No. 01 of 2019 as expeditiously as the business of the said court permits, upon
hearing both sides but without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either side, preferably within eight months from the date of communication of this order to the District Judge.
There will be no order as to costs.
The petitioners shall communicate this order to the District Judge, as well as to the opposite parties and/or to the advocates appearing for the opposite parties in the court below, at the earliest.
Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
