However, their inputs are required for a proper decision of this application.

In view of the same, let Mr. Sunit Kr. Roy, learned advocate, who ordinarily represents the School Service Commission is requested to appear in this matter to assist this Court. His engagement may be regularized in due course.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner's father was an Assistant Teacher in a primary school. After his

demise, the petitioner prayed for compassionate appointment. The same was forwarded by the concerned authorities and presently the matter is pending before the DI of Secondary Education. Let the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2024 be considered by the Commissioner of School Education in accordance with law.

Heard the learned counsels for the State, the SSC and the DPSC Cooch Behar.

In view of the above, let the Commissioner of School Education Department consider the petitioner's application dated 06.11.2024 in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from receipt of the papers from the respondent no.6, who, within a fortnight of communication of this order, shall transmit the papers to the Commissioner.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

As affidavits were not called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
