Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the Municipality submits that the Municipality already forwarded the name of the petitioner for providing appointment on compassionate ground way back on 20th August, and the same is pending consideration before the Director of Local Bodies, West Bengal.

Let copy of the communicating memo of the Municipality be handed over to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

It will be open for the petitioner to pursue his remedy before the competent forum in accordance with law.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
