Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at the Rajganj Bandar S.P. Primary School, Rajganj, Jalpaiguri. She prayed for general transfer on medical ground before the Secretary of the Board on 17.02.2025. But, the same has not been considered as yet.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of Board submits that in the event an application is pending consideration, the same would be considered in accordance with law.

It appears that an application for seeking transfer is pending consideration before the Secretary of the Board. In view of the above, let the respondent no.2 consider the petitioner's prayer for transfer dated 17.02.2025 in accordance with law and as expeditiously

as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

As affidavits were not called for, allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
