None appears on behalf of the State respondents. It appears that though the petitioner took steps for submission of the documents in respect of the vehicle that he proposed to place against the offer letter dated 6th February, 2023 for grant of permanent stage carriage permit (inter state permit), the respondent authority is yet to issue the same in favour of the petitioner. The reason for non-issuance of the permit despite submission of all documents on 7th February, 2023 has also not been intimated to the petitioner. In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of by directing the Secretary, State Transport Authority, West Bengal to take steps in the matter consequent to the submission of documents by the petitioner.

The respondent authority shall intimate the petitioner the fate of his submission of all documents at the earliest but positively within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of.
