The petitioner claims to be the son of one Hirendra Nath Barman who was the Head Teacher of a primary school. The said Hirendra Nath Barman died in harness on August 25, 2007.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has not got his share of the death-cumretirement benefit upon the death of the said Hirendra Nath Barman.

The petitioner submitted a representation dated 27th January, 2025 before the various authorities including the District Inspector of Schools(Primary Education), Cooch Behar.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the District Inspector of School has not communicated its decision on the representation of the petitioner.

In view thereof, WPA 555 of 2025 is disposed of by directing the District Inspector of Schools (Primary

Education), Cooch Behar being the respondent no.3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27th January, 2025 and to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the private respondent and any other persons who may be affected by such decision. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a server copy of this order along with the copy of the representation dated 27th January, 2025.

No order as to costs.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
