Petitioner seeks bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for eight months. One of the co-accused was granted bail.

State is represented.

The petitioner is involved in a proceeding inter alia under Section 6 of the POCSO Act, 2012 read with Sections 379/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 363/365 thereof. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. C.R.M. (DB) 78 of 2022 is dismissed.
