The principal grievance of the writ petitioner is that the State respondent have suddenly reduced the remuneration of the writ petitioners instead of increasing the monthly remuneration in violation of the Government Memo and Circular time to time issued for the purpose.

Admittedly, the writ petitioners have been performing their duties in the capacity of vaccine carrier and Daimashi Janaswastha Health Workers. With the sudden reduction of the monthly remuneration of the writ petitioners, according to the writ petitioners, there has been illegality committed by the State respondent authorities. For adequate remedy, the writ petitioners have already submitted representations and the last representation so far made by the writ petitioner is

relatable to 9th November, 2020.

The said representation, according to the petitioners, has not been considered till date.

Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate, representing the State submits that exchange of affidavits may be directed to be furnished in order to duly address the issue involved in this case.

The point raised in this case being very short, the Court is of the view that exchange of affidavits is not necessary in the given circumstances of the case. That being the position, the instant writ petition may be disposed of, so as to sub serve the purpose of justice giving a direction mentioned as hereunder: The instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent authorities to consider and dispose of the representation of the writ petitioners dated 9th November, 2020, within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. It is clarified that the respondent authority shall pass a reasoned order while disposing of the representation of the petitioners, which shall be communicated to petitioners within one week after the disposal of representation.

With these observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties expeditiously on compliance of all requisite formalities.
