Perused the report submitted by the learned Mediator.

It appears that mediation has failed.

The innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of the matrimonial suit being MAT suit 443 of 2021 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, Malbazar, District Jalpaiguri.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, this Court is inclined to

hold that expeditious disposal of the suit shall enure to the benefit of both the parties.

In view of the same, the application being C.O. 40 of 2024 is allowed directing the learned Additional District Judge, Malbazar, District Jalpaiguri to dispose of the MAT suit being no. 443 of 2021 pending before him as expeditiously as the business of the Court would permit, preferably within a period of four months from the next date of hearing fixed before the learned Court.

Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
