1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at the Arjikhamar Sitai State Plan Primary School, Cooch Behar. He has prayed for transfer on special grounds of distance, surplus teacher and need to take care of minor children. He made an application before the concerned authorities on 6th February, 2025. Yet, till date, the same has not been considered.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that in the event such application for transfer remains pending consideration, the same would be proceeded in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above, let the Secretary of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education consider the petitioner's application for transfer dated 6th

February, 2025 in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, preferable within twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

5. With these observations, the writ petition being WPA 572 of 2025 is disposed of.

6. It is clarified that the merits of the case has not been gone into.

7. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
