For the State The petitioners undertake to appropriately affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking. Considering that a person lost her life and the petitioners were close relatives who were found near the place of occurrence, the custodial interrogation of the petitioners cannot be excused at this stage.
