For the State The petitioner no.1 is the mother-in-law of the deceased husband, petitioner no.2 is the wife of the deceased husband and the petitioner no.3 is the father-in-law of the deceased husband. It appears from the materials on record that the victim husband used to reside with his in-laws, but the death of the deceased husband took place in his paternal house.

Having regard to the statements under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, we are of the opinion that the petitioners should be granted the benefit of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is allowed subject to the conditions that in the event of arrest the petitioners will be released on bail subject to furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the

arresting officer. The petitioners will meet the investigating officer once a fortnight.

Petitioners will comply with the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM 344 of 2021, is allowed.
