The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference.

The petitioner is booked for committing offence under Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

We have perused the memo of evidence, statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. and the medical examination report. The petitioner being the principal accused and there is

sufficient material against him following which chargesheet has been submitted, we are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is thus rejected.

The application for bail being C.R.M. 5126 of 2020 is disposed of.
