The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition alleging inaction on the part of the respondent authority in not considering the petitioner's application dated 29.01.2026 seeking transfer from Singijani High School to any other nearby school to the petitioner's residence.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had joined the school as an Assistant Teacher on 15.07.2011. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is residing 60 kms away from her place of work. Due to the distance between the school and her residence, the petitioner had applied for transfer from Singijani High School to any nearby school vide application dated 29.01.2026.

Since no decision has been taken by the respondent on the said application of the petitioner, this Court

deems it appropriate to direct the respondent no. 3 to consider and decide the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2026 within a period of 8 weeks from the date of communication of this order in accordance with law and applicable rules by way of a reasoned and speaking order.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner and all issued are left open to the competent authority to decide the same in accordance with law. If the application of the petitioner for transfer is allowed, the necessary consequential steps shall be taken in accordance with law without further delay.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition has been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition shall be deemed to have been denied.
