The petitioner undertakes to appropriately stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioners claim that a disagreement over a property has led to some altercation and blows, but completely false charges have ben brought against the petitioners.

The State says that sharp weapons were used and one of the victims received a serious cut on his lip.

Considering the nature of the incident and the extent of the injuries, there may not be any need to take the petitioners into custody.

Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioners will be enlarged on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) each together with personal release bond of equivalent value each to the satisfaction of the arresting officer. In addition, the petitioners will abide by the conditions in Section 438(2) of the Code.
