Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at the Gairkata Guild Mission Primary School of Dhupguri, Jalpaiguri.

On 03.03.2025, she prayed for transfer on her medical ground as well as on the ground of distance. But, the same has not been considered to as yet.

The State is represented.

In view of the above, let the Secretary of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education consider the petitioner's application for transfer dated 03.03.2025 in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

It is made clear that the merits of the case have not been gone into.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
