The petitioner has filed the present writ application praying for a direction upon the respondent authorities for consideration of his application dated 6th February, 2023. It is found from the record that the petitioner has filed the representation under Section 14 of the WBLR Act, 1955.

Counsel for the respondents raised preliminary objection stating that the writ application filed by the petitioner is not

maintainable in terms of Section 6 of WBLR Act, 1997.

Considering the objection raised by the counsel for the respondents, this Court finds that the writ petition is not maintainable.

Accordingly, WPA 562 of 2023 is dismissed.

However, dismissal of the writ petition will not debar the petitioner from taking appropriate steps in terms of West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997.

WPA 562 of 2023 is thus disposed of.

Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.
