The present petitioners are the father-in-law and the mother-inlaw of the deceased. Charge-sheet in the present case has been filed on 09.01.2023 under Sections 498A/304B read with Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned public prosecutor placing the case diary has brought the notice of the Court to the statements recorded under Section 161 of the Cr.P.C and the other materials on record. From the post-mortem report, it is found that the deceased died of hanging. Charge-sheet has been filed in the present case and investigation is prima facie complete. Further detention of the father-in-law and the mother-in-law in custody is not necessary. Accordingly the petitioners are granted

bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.5,000/- with two sureties of Rs.2,500/- amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Coochbehar and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 The application for anticipatory bail is, accordingly, allowed.
