We have considered the materials on record. Injury is grievous. Statements of witnesses implicate the petitioner in assault.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
