None appears for the opposite party despite service.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner prays for expeditious disposal of the suit being T.S.203 of 2018 pending before the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Siliguri.

Learned counsel submits that Presiding Officer of the Court has joined.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that the opposite party shall not be prejudiced if the instant application is allowed. In fact, expeditious disposal of the matter shall enure to the benefit of both the parties.

Accordingly, the application being CO.44 of 2024 is allowed.

The learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Siliguri is directed to dispose of the title suit being no. 203 of 2018 pending before him as expeditiously as possible, preferably within three months from the next date fixed for hearing before him, in accordance with law.

Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
