Learned State Advocate opposes the bail prayer. 4.

As the trial has commenced and out of 10 witnesses 7 witnesses have already been examined, this court is of the view that the merits of the case should not be gone into. There is no delay in progress of the trial.

CRM (DB) 154 of 2025 is, thus, dismissed.

However, the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a short period without granting unnecessary adjournments. In the event the trial is not concluded

within a period of three months, the petitioner will be at liberty to pray for bail before the learned Trial Court. 7.
