The petitioners say that they have been falsely implicated. The daughter of the petitioner no.1 married the son of the victim. Thereafter there were certain allegations of the girl being tortured. Her family including these petitioners brutally assaulted the family members of the boy. In the process, the victim being the boy's father sustained grievous injury and succumbed thereto.

The petitioners say that they have no role to play in the alleged incident. They have been falsely implicated. If
granted anticipatory bail, they will fully cooperate with the Investigating Officer.

There is strong opposition to the prayer from the side of the State and the defacto complainant. They say that the petitioners and their families are influential people and the investigation will be prejudiced if they are granted anticipatory bail.

I have seen the material in the case diary including the injury report. The charge is serious. Investigation is going on and charge sheet is yet to be filed. 5.
On an overall assessment of the facts and circumstances of the case and the material on record, I am of the view that this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail.

The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. 7.
CRM (A) 152 of 2025 stands dismissed.
