Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner was released on bail on 19th July, 2025 subject to furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom should be local. The local surety was directed to deposit his title deed before the learned Special Court which would be retained till the end of the trial. Since the petitioner has not been able to furnish local surety, he is still languishing in custody despite being granted bail.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, the bail condition imposed upon the petitioner on 19th June, 2025 be modified to the extent that the petitioner

shall furnish bond of Rs.20,000/- with two registered sureties of like amount each instead of local surety. However, the other conditions of bail shall continue.

The application being CRAN 2 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
