The petitioner has superannuated from his service on 30.6.2018 and PPO was issued on 28.8.2019. Gratuity and pension is released in favour of petitioner on 3.11.2019. Now the petitioner claims interest on the gratuity amount as well as on arrears of pension from 30.6.2018 till 30.11.2019.

Considered the submission made by the petitioner, this Court finds that there is no delay in releasing of arrears of gratuity and arrears of pension of the petitioner. The petitioner is not entitled to get interest on gratuity amount as well as on arrears of pension as claimed by the petitioner.

WPA 679 of 2023 is thus disposed of.
