The petitioner has superannuated from his service 31.1.2020 and PPO was issued on 22.12.2020. The gratuity as well as the pension of the petitioner was released in favour of the petitioner on 2.2.2021. Now the petitioner claims interest on the gratuity amount as well as on arrears of pension from 31.1.2020 to 02.2.2021.

Considered the submission made by the petitioner, this Court finds that there is no delay in releasing of arrears of gratuity and pension of the petitioner. The petitioner is not entitled to get interest on gratuity amount as well as on arrears of pension as claimed by the petitioner.

WPA 680 of 2023 is thus dismissed.
