The petitioner was superannuated from his service on 31.5.2006 and PPO was issued on 23.4.2007. On 13.9.2012 revised PPO was issued to the petitioner and revised arrears of pension was disbursed to the petitioner on 3.12.2013. Now the petitioner claims interest on the gratuity amount as well as on arrears of pension from 24.4.2007 to 31.12.2013.

Considered the submission made by the petitioner, this Court finds that after the period of ten years, the petitioner has filed the present writ application for grant of interest on gratuity and on arrears of

pension. The writ application filed by the petitioner is barred by limitation.

WPA 681 of 2023 dismissed.
