In connection with the criminal revisional application being CRR 76 of 2019 one joint petition has been filed by the petitioner as well as the de facto complainant being the mother of the petitioner being CRAN 1 of 2019 seeking withdrawal of the proceedings initiated before this Court in view of the settlement arrived at by and between the parties and a joint prayer has also been made for quashing of the proceeding which is pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siliguri being GR Case No.2593 of 2013 arising out of Siliguri Police Station Case No.731 of 2013 dated 1st August, under Sections 448/385/323/427/506/327/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Such prayer made on behalf of the petitioner as well as the de facto complainant has not been seriously opposed by the learned advocate representing the State.

In view of the statement made in paragraph 4 of the compromise petition disputes arose between the revisionist and the de facto complainant is settled and the proceeding pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siliguri as aforesaid stands dropped.

Though the de facto complainant namely Uma Chakraborty is not represented before the Court but it is found that the vakalatnama has been filed by one Mr. Debasish Mukherjee, learned advocate along with the application for compromise, which has been duly singed by the applicant No.2 Uma Chakraborty. With the above observations the criminal revisional application being CRR 76 of 2019 and the connected application being CRAN 1 of 2019 stand disposed of.
