The petitioner is the father-in-law of the victim. The victim is minor. We have carefully read the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. directly implicating the petitioner in the commission of the alleged offence. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected and disposed of.
