1. Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

2. Prayer for bail has been opposed on behalf of the State.

3. On perusal of the seizure list dated 14.05.2023, it reveals that commercial quantity of contraband was seized from the conscious possession of the present accused petitioner.

4. There is stated to be criminal antecedent of the present accused petitioner of similar offence. Investigation is stated to have been completed in the meantime and the trial has commenced.

5. Considering such, we are not inclined to exercise our discretion under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C.

6. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is considered and rejected.

7. We request the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial.
