Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record.

The petitioners seeks consideration of his representation submitted before the 2nd and 3rd respondents on 18th November, for appointment on compassionate ground upon demise of his father on 18th April, 2009.

The petitioner's father was a field worker in the Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya and died in harness.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the 3rd respondent be directed to consider the representation, in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner on 18th November, 2022 within one month from the date of communication of this order after granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested persons including the petitioner, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof.

With the above observations and directions the writ petition being WPA 707 of 2023 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted.
