The petitioner claims to have made a representation before various authorities including the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Jalpaiguri by a letter dated January 27, 2025.

In the said representation it has been stated that there has been a wrong calculation of interest. This Court cannot enter into a dispute with regard to calculation of interest and the same is best left open for the authorities to decide.

In view thereof WPA No. 684 of 2025 is disposed by directing the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Jalpaiguri being the 4th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27th of January, 2025 and to dispose of the same by passing a

reasoned order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his authorized representative. The said respondent shall communicate the reasoned order to the petitioner immediately thereafter. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the receipt of a server copy of this order along with a copy of this representation dated 27.01.2025. It will be open to the petitioner to place reliance upon any government order or any Court order in support of his contention as to the rate of interest that the petitioner may be entitled to.
