The petitioner says that he had no idea that the bicycles that he purchased from one Ajit Singh, are all stolen goods. He is a bona fide purchaser of such bicycles. He runs a bicycle shop. He says that he will cooperate with the Investigating Officer, if granted anticipatory bail.

Learned State Advocate draws my attention to statements of witnesses, who are residents of the same locality, recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. They implicate the petitioner as an accomplice of the said Ajit Singh, who used to steal bicycles and deliver the same to the petitioner. 3.

I see that the investigation is in progress.

In view of the prima facie incriminating material against the petitioner, I am not inclined to allow his prayer for anticipatory bail.

CRM (A) 221 of 2025 is, thus, dismissed.
