Let the affidavit of service be kept with the record. Mr. Hillol Saha Podder, learned advocate, appears for the writ petitioner. The writ petitioner makes a prayer for grant of necessary permission to complete the D.EI.Ed. professional course. To the above effect the petitioner, who is presently working as an Assistant Teacher in a school in Cooch Behar had applied to the West Bengal Board of Primary Education (the Board) /the respondent no.2 to the petition on the 19th of December, 2018 with a copy to the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), Cooch Behar.

Mr. Saha Podder draws the attention of this Court the letter dated 3rd January, 2019 of the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), Cooch Behar/the respondent no.6 addressed to the Secretary of the Board/the respondent no.2 on the 3rd of January, 2019 forwarding

the claim of the petitioner. The petitioner alleges inaction till date on the part of the concerned respondent to permit pursuit of the D.EI.Ed. (P.E) professional course.

Dhar, learned Additional Government Pleader (AGP), represents the State respondents.

Having hard the parties and considering the materials placed, this Court does not intend to defain this writ petition further.

Accordingly, the petitioner is permitted to file a comprehensive representation before the respondent no.2 supported by documents. The respondent no.2 shall then consider both the comprehensive representation of the petitioner with the forwarding letter of the D.I.(PE)/the respondent no.6 dated 3rd January, 2019 (supra) marked annexure P-10 to the application in accordance with law on merits. The reasoned decision of the respondent no.2 shall be then communicated to the petitioner.

Let the above directed exercise be completed not later than a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the comprehensive representation with the letter dated 3rd January, 2019 by the respondents No.2 from the petitioner.

W.P.A.487 of 2019 stands disposed of.

Since the affidavits are not invited, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to be denied. Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the applicant upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
