CIRCUIT BENCH OF CALCUTTA HIGH COURT AT JALPAIGURI W.P.A. 896 of 2022 (Mr. Jaiman Rai vs. Secretary, Ministry of Defence.) The writ petition was filed by the petitioner at a point of time when the Armed Forces Tribunal was not functioning. It is submitted on behalf of the parties that the Tribunal has started functioning recently. The petitioner seeks to withdraw the writ petition and approach the Tribunal for redressal of his grievances. On prayer of the petitioner liberty is granted to withdraw the writ petition and approach the Tribunal for redressal of his grievances.

W.P.A. 896 of 2022 is thus disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
