In paragraph of this judgement, it is directed that the respondent no.1/New India Assurance Company Limited shall pay interest @ 6% per annum on the awarded sum from the date of filing of the claim case till the deposit of the principal sum but it is not mentioned as to where the deposit shall be made.

Thus, the respondent no.1/New India Assurance Company Limited is directed to deposit before the Registrar, Circuit Bench, Jalpaiguri, within the period as directed in the said judgment and order.

Le the name of learned advocate of the

appellants/claimants which is recorded "Mr. S. Bhowmik" in the order dated 16.12.2025 be corrected as "Ms. Srija Bhowmik".
