1. Application for bail is canvassed on the ground that there is no independent witness to the seizure of the highly toxic OP Spirit of 1560 liters.

2. It is submitted that the house on which raid was conducted belongs to the petitioner's mother and the godown from which some of the illegal spirit was recovered does not belong to the petitioner.

3. It appears from the record that the OP Spirit had 50% alcohol and fake labels of popular brand of alcohol were found on the bottles in question.

4. Having regard to the fact that the seizure was made in presence of the petitioner in his mother's house and at the godown in question and given the dangerous quality of Spirit that could have reached the consumer, and cause risk to life and limb, this Court is not inclined to entertain the application for bail of the petitioner.

5. Hence, CRM (M) 107 of 2026 shall stand dismissed. (Rajasekhar Mantha, J.)
